The following two products from C Point Software, primarily designed for web site creation, may also be of interest to you in preparing materials for e-books.  You don't have to "buy it now" but the image links will take you to more information. 

Creative Suite  includes a package of C Point Software programs for media creation--Animator Professional, Photo Magic, JavaScript Editor Professional with Quick FTP and Web Effects, PHP Editor, Code Chameleon, Draw Magic, and C# Editor. Creative Suite is a set of programs integrated together to allow you to create resources (images, animations, videos and sound) and use them in  editors to create multimedia content applications.  The program is less than $100 and a free trial is frequently available.

Creative Suite Subscription is the same as above but you also get all updates and upgrades for 12 months and all new product releases for 12 months for below $120.
